Causes more congestion confusion and risk of accidents. Using makes for a confusing navigation. At times it feels dangerous as drivers try and cross bus lanes to access side streets.

On 9 occasions when cycling north we are thrust into a bus lane/stop. This is seriously dangerous to cyclists and totally unfair on bus drivers.

Traffic flow has improved, and the environment on the pavement for pedestrians has been much improved. There is less traffic noise and less pollution for pedestrians on the pavements, and it is easier to cross the street.

There is more congestion adding to journey times and reduced air quality. The lanes are somewhat haphazard

There ought to be short term parking available along the high street, similar to Chillingham Road. This will benefit the shops on the high street.
